Policy Dialogue Program of Nepal’s Current Policy

NFYN, in collaboration with the Alternative Foundation, organized the Nepal's Current Policy and Science & Technology Development Policy Dialogue Program on Saturday, May 27th, 2023 with 51 participants. This program was designed for facilitating inclusive discussions among stakeholders, experts, and policymakers, promoting information sharing, knowledge exchange, and evidence-based decision-making. By engaging diverse perspectives and fostering stakeholder participation, these programs enhance policy coherence, capacity building, and transparency, ensuring accountability in the policymaking process. Ultimately, policy dialogue programs contribute to the development of effective and sustainable policies that address complex societal challenges. The outcome of the discussion was highlighted the existing policies of the country and raised awareness about the complex issues they currently face and Participants voiced their concerns and recommendations regarding the current Youth Policy, emphasizing the need for revisions and improvements in certain areas.
