The goal of this project was to ensure that the affected communities of 2015 earthquake are restored in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. Through this program, participants gained the capacity to make more responsible policy decisions for post disaster recovery and reconstruction. Overall, 69 MPs and political leaders participated from 14 earthquake affected districts. The workshop succeeded in gaining commitments from participants to implement environmentally friendly recovery and reconstruction processes.
