Dolma Yangchen Lama is a social development professional and education leader with extensive experience in organizational leadership, women’s empowerment, and community development in Nepal. With a strong academic background in sociology, she has worked across civil society and educational institutions, contributing to policy advocacy, leadership development, and inclusive education initiatives.

She served as the Founder President of NIWF (National Indigenous Women’s Federation), Bagmati Province, where she played a key role in establishing the provincial structure, strengthening grassroots leadership, and advancing the rights of indigenous women. After completing her tenure, she continues to support the organization as an Advisory Member, providing strategic guidance and mentorship.

She also served the Nepal Yolmo Women Association for six years, contributing to organizational development and women-focused initiatives, and continues her involvement in an advisory capacity. Currently, she is the Founder Principal of Academic World School, leading the institution with a focus on quality education, inclusive values, and institutional growth.

She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology, which strongly informs her professional approach to social justice, leadership, and education.
