Rimu Kumari Lekhi is a Central Committee member of the National Federation of Youth NGOs Nepal (NFYN), a national-level youth umbrella organization in Nepal that works to empower young leaders, strengthen youth participation in policy and decision-making, and support youth-led development initiatives across all seven provinces.

In her role as a central committee member, Lekhi is involved in contributing to NFYN’s governance, advocacy, and youth engagement efforts—helping shape strategic decisions, support program implementation, and represent youth voices on societal issues affecting education, employment, inclusion, and community development.

NFYN itself is a non-profit federation founded in 2013, with a mission aligned to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on capacity building, advocacy, and creating meaningful opportunities for youth across Nepal.
