National Conference on Youth and SDGs

In collaboration with the Centre for International Studies and Cooperation (CECI), NFYN hosted a two day national conference on Youth and the Sustainable Development Goals. The conference allowed youth to interact with experts and policy makers, to discuss sustainable agriculture, poverty, and food security. The conference provided training for youth on access to the job market though the Micro Enterprise Development Program (MEDEP) model. Youth were presented with success stories and effective methods of youth entrepreneurship in Nepal. Overall, the conference included a total of 213 youth participants from 47 districts, with 48% of participants being female.
