A Roof for All (Shelter Project)

To address the destruction of housing after the 2015 earthquake, NFYN built temporary shelters for victims in Gorkha, Sindhupalchowk and Nuwakot. NFYN trained 60 local youths in the construction of eco-friendly shelters, and repurposing local construction materials. Youth built 250 temporary shelters, which benefited a total of 1500 earthquake survivors. This project was implemented with the support of ISRAID.
